How to set MP3 as a phone ringtone

To set MP3 as phone ringtone in Android. Open the music app and tap on the Songs tab. Long press on the mp3 song that you want to use as a ringtone and tap ‘set as ringtone’. Done!

How to set MP3 as a SMS ringtone

To set MP3 as SMS ringtone, you have to put the MP3 files on the specified folder in your SD card. Here’s how to do it:

With file manager application, create a directory path on your SD card like this:

sdcard/media/audio/notifications

Once done, copy or move the desired Mp3 files there. Now, open Messaging app and navigate to Settings->Select ringtone to see and set your custom ringtone.
